Why Convenient Comments?

Convenient Comments simplifies comment management by automatically handling long comments, providing direct access with comment factboxes, triggering notifications for important details, and enabling quick detection of existing comments. With advanced features like Document Group Codes and easy setup, it enhances efficiency and decision-making within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

How Convenient Comments Works

Convenient Comments seamlessly integrates into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, adding features that make working with comments much more convenient.

An example of this is the intuitive Comment Editor for quick multi-line text entry. It automatically splits long text sequences into separate comment line records and respects/retains the line-breaks. Ideal for quick and easy comment entry!

Furthermore, Comment Factboxes are added throughout Business Central to allow for quick insight and easy access to the comments linked to selected records.

You can set up Special Comments for customers, vendors and items, which will be displayed to users when they open a page for a document in which they are used.

How to Get Started

To get started with the Convenient Comments extension, you need to install the extension in your Business Central environment from Microsoft AppSource. Please note that you can try out the Convenient Comments extension completely for free by installing it directly from Microsoft AppSource in one of your Business Central Sandbox environments; no trial period, no obligations!

In our online Installation Manual you can find all the instructions you need to install the extension and configure permissions. Then it is just a matter of opening the Convenient Comments Setup Wizard page and following the steps, as described in the Setup section of the installation manual.
